Scribe-X is upgrading the platform behind your scribe service from ScribeBridge to the Scribe-X Clinical Intelligence Platform (CIP). Your scribes, your Account Manager, your workflows, and your service agreement remain the same. What changes is the platform foundation underneath: a more modern technology stack with HIPAA-aligned controls, stronger access governance, expanded workflow visibility for our service teams, and the foundation for analytics and intelligent capabilities Scribe-X will introduce over time.
Two reasons. First, customer and provider feedback has pointed consistently to the same priorities: more consistent service, clearer visibility into the work being done, and support that adapts to how different providers and specialties actually document. Second, healthcare organizations are raising the bar on the technology standards they expect from their service partners, including HIPAA-aligned controls, advanced operational controls, and platform visibility. CIP gives Scribe-X the foundation to meet both, while keeping the focus on provider relief, documentation quality, and the service relationship customers already trust.
ScribeBridge has supported the current Scribe-X experience. CIP is the next step in strengthening the platform foundation behind that experience.
Providers continue documenting the way they do today, with the same Scribe-X support team, in the same EHR, using the same encounter workflow. The upgrade happens on the platform side, not in the exam room. Where providers may notice improvement over time, it will be in the form of more adaptive support across specialties and documentation preferences, clearer escalation paths when issues come up, and access to new intelligent capabilities on an opt-in basis. Provider-facing materials, including a quick-start guide and short training video, will be shared before your organization's go live date.
CIP is the upgraded platform foundation for Scribe-X services. It creates the foundation for intelligent capabilities that can support more of the clinical workflow over time, but the core of this upgrade is a stronger customer experience: more reliable service, more adaptive provider support, expanded visibility, and continued focus on quality. Intelligent capabilities are introduced separately, on an opt-in basis, and are not automatically enabled.

Scribe-X has supported HIPAA-compliant workflows throughout the ScribeBridge era, and the upgrade preserves those data practices while expanding the controls and visibility around them. For detailed IT, security, privacy, or procurement questions, Scribe-X supports the formal review process and can provide documentation through your Account Manager.
