Adventist Health Portland is a regional health network with 24 primary care clinics, a 302-bed medical center, home care, and hospice services. The system manages 12,000 hospital admissions, 55,000 ER visits, and 142,000 outpatient visits each year, serving a diverse and growing patient population across Oregon. With a commitment to whole-person care, Adventist Health continues to invest in tools and partnerships that improve access, quality, and provider well-being.
Adventist Health needed a more effective scribe partner after facing workflow gaps and inconsistent support from their previous vendor.
Adventist Health partnered with Scribe-X to implement a high-quality remote scribe program tailored to their systems and workflows. Scribes were trained in the organization’s EHR and documentation standards, allowing for real-time support during patient visits. Over time, Scribe-X scribes became a key resource for improving provider efficiency and were also used as a recruitment and retention incentive for top-performing clinicians.
